Yumiko had her violin recital today and made both Ken and me cry. She was so so good and was given the “Outstanding Performance” Award. Here she is practicing at home, just before we went to the program. (Oh those bragging old parents.)

I rescued this poor little garter snake this morning from the claws of that bad Toto cat. He was fine, just a little shook up. Carried him to the bushes in the back yard and watched him slither away. Toto was crestfallen.
