Big Bad Snapping Turtle
This gal stopped traffic today as she was crossing the road in front of Eastern College Pond. Traffic was stopped in both directions. People were out of their cars using umbrellas and big sticks to try to get her to move, but she was just snapping away. Finally everybody backed off and she raised her head and walked slowly and elegantly across the road and into the brush. Traffic resumed and she will live to see another day.
