
It was still cold this morning in Valley Forge, but the little Kinglet was not bothered. Here he is in all his finery.

Spring is just around the corner, even though the calendar says it’s already here. The birds are just beginning to arrive. Saw a few Eastern Phoebe in the woods in Valley Forge today and they are the first to arrive. Cardinals were abundant. Waiting for the American Toads.

My dear old blog has been down since last April. A great guy named Gregory Cazillo, head of Techsynergymsp.com in Exton helped me redo my website which has also been down since last April. This is my first test to see if the blog really works. Keep those fingers crossed.

I heard the meadow lark this morning in the meadow. I played his song on my phone. And what should happen??? He flew up and landed on a dried stalk close to me and let me take a thousand photographs. Here are three:
