It was bird banding day today at Jenkins Arboretum in Devon, PA. Here’s a little titmouse getting banded.

This morning as I was driving through the park I saw the little cat again in the field along the road and thought I would say hello. Well, she was not interested in talking to me, and instead caught this poor little mouse just as I rolled down the window. Oh life in the…

I was looking for the foxes and their cubs this morning, but in their place was this pretty little kitty right there in the middle of a big field.

I found the baby foxes today!! In fact, I found two separate families of them. Keep those fingers crossed they stay where they are as they grow and get even cuter.

Enjoying a good piece of grass before the photographer showed up. Will you please turn off that Camera NOW!

Last spring I found a pair of northern flickers dancing in the woods at Valley Forge. I loved their beautiful gaudy yellow underwings. I really wanted to find them again this year. Today they were all over the woods. Here are a few shots. Hopefully more to come.
