Yumiko and I are here in Japan for a photographic adventure. Our first stop after visiting family and friends in Tokyo is here in Yudanaka where the snow monkeys live. We were lucky that just before we got here it snowed, however today it is 65 degrees outside. Ugh… In fact it is so…

This little guy or gal was so cooperative this morning. I got within just a few feet and he let me stay and photograph. But when I began to talk to him, he got a little nervous and flew away. Oh well…

There is a squirrel’s nest in a tree in Valley Forge where three little baby squirrels live and play. I come across them quite often and just love it when they finally calm down and pose for a picture. Here’s a little tyke with nut from yesterday.
O.K., it has been quite some time since last I wrote a story outlining the folly of being a little dim witted, but just for fun, here we go again. As some of you may know, about eight months ago I began a new relationship with a wonderful man named Tom. Every day since…

I was walking in the field below Washington’s Chapel in Valley Forge when this little beauty jumped up in front of me. He had been hiding in the tall brush. He ran away, but soon stopped and just stared at me through the weeds. Such a thrill.

Rained all day yesterday, but this little beauty still posed for a quick picture during my drive through Valley Forge.

It’s been a great year for photography and for me. I put together a little book of favorite photographs from Costa Rica, Tanzania, Alaska and Valley Forge. Here’s a link for fun: https://www.blurb.com/b/9804620-d-a-n-c-i-n-g-b-e-a-r-s-and-other-recent-favorites
