This guy was on a tree far far away from me. He noticed me taking his picture and took off and flew right up to the tree next to me and checked me out. Such a cool moment!

I searched and searched for the warblers and finally found a few at the very top of the trees in Valley Forge. I didn’t get any good photographs, but on my way out of the woods, this pretty Mourning Dove posed in mid air.

They were singing their hearts out in Charlestown Meadows late this afternoon. I put on my boots and walked into the bog and there they were. No bigger than a postage stamp and so aware.

It was another cold day in the woods in Charlestown Meadows today, but the spring is coming and the bluebirds and the deer came out to play.
