The little dragonfly stood still on his little perch and let me get closer and closer until I was just directly in front of his face. What a thrill!

I was taking a picture of an Indigo Bunting when all of a sudden a little yellow grasshopper jumped onto my 600 mm lens. I had my macro lens over my shoulder and was able to grab a shot of him too. Oh technology!

Mr. Indigo Bunting was not happy with me. He had a nest in a bush just by the path into the woods. I just stayed put and he just flew around me, yelling at me to take my big lens and please go home. So I did.
