
These elegant trees are more than 800 years old. Many are over 100 feet tall and some 30 feet in diameter at their base. They form a beautiful natural border on a dirt road that links two villages of Madagascar – Morondava and Belo Tsiribihina. It’s a very famous and wonderful site to see.…

This little cutie is the world’s largest nocturnal primate weighing in at about four pounds. He’s got long, long fingers, especially the third finger for digging and sharp sharp teeth. Taken at night with a flash somewhere in Madagascar.

The internet is very spotty and no time for all this blogger nonsense, but did want to report we made it to Madagascar. We’ve been here for a week of wonderful photography with Todd Gustafson. We’ve gotten a few lemurs, a few gecko’s and lots of Baobab trees. I’ll try to keep posting:
