It was pouring rain in Valley Forge yesterday as I was driving along the interline road within the park. There atop the giant revolutionary statue of two Eagles was the little kestrel perched with perfect symmetry with the Eagle’s wing. Oh such a thrill!!

Yesterday and today I came across dozens of warblers all settled down in the berries deep in the woods in Valley Forge. Oh what a thrill it was and I may go back tomorrow and see if they are still there. Here are a few images. Click a photo to get a better view.
