
O.K. guys, this is a real stretch, but here is the latest in my series of great paintings and then my rendition of that painting in a photograph. Yumiko wouldn’t let me put her gold fish in a little glass jar, so I had to substitute a vase of flowers. What do you think?

As mentioned earlier, I am taking a class where we are to take photographs that look like paintings. This week I chose Frida Kahlo, the Mexican Artist who painted many self portraits. Yumiko drew on one eyebrow and put on a red scarf and voila – Freida Kahlo.

I traveled to Island Beach State Park yesterday and joined wildlife photographer Denise Ippolito and a few others. She scouted out a beautiful lone fox for us. Here are a few photos from our adventure.

Ken told me today these heron and fish pictures are getting a little too “Deja Vu” for him. I told him that until the Spring comes and all the birds come back he will just have to bear with what’s out there unless a tiger or elephant crosses my path.
