The Hawk and the Squirrel (Not for the Faint of Heart)
I spent a few hours today with this beautiful red tailed hawk. I watched him fly from a branch and catch the squirrel. Afterwards he flew back up on another branch and we just traded stories for a while.

Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”
It’s the last year of “The Nutcracker” for Yumiko. It has been at least ten years!!! Here are way too many photographs from this year’s performance which takes place this weekend at the Upper Darby High School’s Performing Arts Center. Remember you can click on any photo to enlarge it.
