I just got back from an incredible two weeks in Kenya. It’s my favorite place on this earth. People are wonderful, wildlife is beyond compare, mornings are glorious. Denise Ippolito and Paul McKenzie, two of the greatest wildlife photographers on the planet took four of us under their wings and showed us how it’s really done. We spent two days in tiny helicopters flying over the soda lakes of Northern Kenya. Oh my, oh my, how magnificent was that. Thousands and thousands of flamingos below us with remarkably unbelievable shapes and colors as their background. And then we spent a few days in Samburu and the Maasai Mara. Every day was breathtaking. I took a thousand trillion photographs, a few of which I am happy about. A book hopefully will be coming before Christmas, but in the meantime, here are a few of my favorites.
