Spring is just around the corner, even though the calendar says it’s already here. The birds are just beginning to arrive. Saw a few Eastern Phoebe in the woods in Valley Forge today and they are the first to arrive. Cardinals were abundant. Waiting for the American Toads.

It was a cold, cold morning today in Brightside Park, but the Red-winged blackbirds were all there looking for love in all the right places.
