
The little dragonfly stood still on his little perch and let me get closer and closer until I was just directly in front of his face. What a thrill!

I was taking a picture of an Indigo Bunting when all of a sudden a little yellow grasshopper jumped onto my 600 mm lens. I had my macro lens over my shoulder and was able to grab a shot of him too. Oh technology!

This little baby Least Bittern will soon look like his mother or father. Both were on view at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge yesterday.
